Obituary of Christos Katsiroubas

Peacefully, at Macassa Lodge, Hamilton, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Christos Katsiroubas passed away in his 104th year.

 

Beloved husband of the late Panagiota. Dear father of Konstantinos “Gus” (Karen), Stavros, Magdalini (Peter) and Antonia (George). Cherished Papou of Christopher (Lisa), Patrice (Greg), Metaxia (the late Josh), Andreas (Joss), Yanni (Chey), the late Xristos, Antonia and Giota. Great-Papou to Lucas, Logan and August. Survived by sisters-in-law Katherine (the late George) Diavolitsis and Effie (the late George) Papageogiou. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his 6 sisters.

 

Christos was born on the Nativity of Mary on September 8, 1920. He led a long simple life leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Visitation will be held at  Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Sunday, March 31, 2024 from 7-9 p.m.

 

Prayers will be conducted in the Logan Chapel Sunday evening at 8:00 p.m.

 

Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., London, Ontario on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.

 

Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.

 

Donations to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
