Mom was an intelligent, loving woman who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends in her home. Mom and Dad were the first of both families to come to Canada. They sponsored five siblings and their spouses in their home and helped them become established in Canada. She enjoyed taking us on camping trips throughout Canada, visiting family in Netherlands and wintering in Arizona. Her grandchildren always brought a smile to her face when they visited her at Mount Hope. Mom will be dearly missed.
Thank you to all the caring staff who supported Mom for eleven years at Mount Hope Long Term Care, 2nd Floor, St. Marys.
Surrounded by family, interment took place at the grave site December 27, 2019 at St. Peter's Cemetery, London. She now rests with her devoted husband.
