1937-2019

John "Ray" Raymond Peach

Passed away peacefully at Meadow Park Nursing Home on July 5th, 2019.  Survived by his loving wife Frances (nee Welsh) of 59 years. 

Loving father of Laura Peach,  Stephen Thistle and predeceased by his son Ronald Peach and daughter in law Cheryl (Moxam).  Grandpa to Keifer and Zach.  Predeceased by his mom Esther, father Vern and stepfather Larry Groulx.  Survived by his brother Albert and his wife Carol, predeceased by his sister Marilyn Pinsonneault and his brother Vern Peach.  Survived by his sister in law Doris and her husband Ralph Kepran and predeceased by his sister in law Ellen and George Watt.

Ray will be missed by his many nieces and nephews as well as his friends. Ray was a long time employee of Kellogg’s Canada in which he retired after 35 years.  He was part of the executive for the union during his time there and was fortunate to make many lasting friendships there. For those who knew him well understood his love for what he called "God’s Country" which was his beloved Beauty Lake in Northern Ontario.  Not only was this a favourite spot for family summer vacations but also many holidays spent with friends there enjoying his other love which was fishing.

Visitation will take place on Saturday July 13th, 2019 from 11am-1pm with the service immediately following at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London with reception to follow. We would like to extend our sincere Thank you to the staff at Meadow Park for their kind and compassionate care.  In lieu of flowers please consider Chalmers Presbyterian Church for donations.

A tree will be planted by the staff of the Logan Funeral Home, as a living memorial to Ray.
